“ Finally made it up to Ogdensburg to check out Jade’s and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! We started with their Fried Pickles and not that I would ever call Fried Pickles boring but Jades’ was next level and above and beyond your average Fried Pickle- breaded with what I believe was corn flakes and fried to perfection, even their choice of a dense pickle slice was a grand slam!! Then I got the Incredible Hulk (perfectly fried chicken breast w/ fried green tomatoes, avocado, bacon slices and bacon jam with Bang sauce) and my girlfriend got the OG Chicken & Waffles. Both entrees were delicious and had their neat twists with the use cornmeal and seasonings. Finally, we split a side of Cheesy Grits which was as good as grits could ever be. Jade’s has something truly amazing and special going on and I cannot wait to comeback for more!!! ”
“ AMAZING - a must go if you’re in the area!! I got the hulk chicken sandwich and it was delightful. The chicken was not too crispy and inside it was super soft. My husband got the rice bowl- amazing! Staff is super nice and friendly, clean bathroom. I would plan another trip just to eat here again. ”
“ Happened to stumble upon this hidden gem today , and so happy we did!!! Modern but comfortable atmosphere, family owned , and most importantly DELICIOUS food! I didn’t get to take a pic but i had the empanadas and my husband had the bacon jamburger and cajun waffle fries . My daughter’s meal was pictures. We will 100 be back. It’s a good 45 min from us but worth the drive! ”

My husband ordered the Nashville Chicken waffles and I think he would have drank the sauce. I ordered the jerk chicken which was a HUGE portion. I need to go back and try the catfish and burgers. “ I have lived in Sussex County for five years now and Jade’s is about to be my home away from home when I’m seeking a home cooked meal. Everyone definitely DO NOT know how to master grits. Jade’s grits are completely cooked, creamy, flavorful (as a matter of fact) they are perfectly made. NOTE TO JADE: When I come back, please throw me another spoon of grits on my plate. My shrimp and grits dish: the chef fried the shrimp to perfection with the exact needed crisp without making the shrimp rubbery (master piece) and to season without being heavy on the salt has been achieved with all your dishes. Let’s discuss the (Fried Chicken - Thighs) Lordt have Mercy!!!!! Fried with a crispy outer layer yet so moist and juicy in the inside with the bang bang sauce *snaps fingers* The Thighs didn’t fail me now! HEY JADE: SIS take a bow along with your family because you’ve managed to provide great favored dishes yet at a reasonable price. “ Stopped in for brunch today. So happy we did! What a gem of a place this is. Food was delicious. Chicken was cooked to perfection, the bang sauce is outstanding with just enough kick to keep you dipping in. Grits were very tasty. Husband had a shrimp dish. They were very clean and also cooked perfectly. The chef really did an outstanding job and his pride shows in his dishes. The waitress was very attentive and pleasant.
